My work is not only about making a base look clean. On the mountain, small details matter: edge grip on firm snow, wax choice for the day, a base that runs smoothly, and equipment that feels predictable when conditions change.

I regularly spend time at Cypress Mountain as ski patrol, and I sometimes work with Vancouver Adaptive Snow Sports at Grouse Mountain. I am also a snowboard instructor. Those experiences help me understand what skiers and snowboarders actually need: reliable equipment, honest advice and work that matches how they ride.

When you bring your skis or snowboard in, I look at the whole setup: base condition, edge condition, rust, wax dryness, binding hardware, repair risk and how the gear will be used. The goal is simple: do the work that helps, avoid unnecessary work, and get your equipment ready for the next mountain day.
