Waxing & Tuning
Ski & snowboard waxing in Burnaby
Hand hot wax is included in our standard ski and snowboard tune-up. Drop-off is by appointment at our Burnaby workshop.
What is included and what does it cost?
The standard tune-up is CAD $59 for skis or a snowboard. It includes cleaning, edge work, hand hot wax, scraping and polishing, and an overall condition check. Waxing is part of this tune-up; a separate wax-only appointment is not listed in our current online services.
Deep base gouges, core shots, edge damage and other repairs need assessment. We confirm extra work and its price before proceeding. See the current service list and booking options.
When should skis or a snowboard be waxed?
Check the base after riding. Dry or white-looking areas and slower glide can indicate that the base needs wax. Snow conditions and time on snow affect the interval; many riders check their gear after a few mountain days rather than relying on one fixed schedule.
Where is the drop-off and how long does it take?
Book an appointment before visiting the Burnaby workshop. Exact drop-off directions are provided with the appointment. Most regular tune-ups are ready in approximately 24 hours; busy periods or additional repairs may take longer. Vancouver, Richmond and North Vancouver riders use the same Burnaby drop-off.
