Skiing and snowboarding involve inherent risks. Tuning, waxing, repair or adjustment can improve equipment condition but cannot eliminate those risks, guarantee performance, or make worn equipment new. Customers remain responsible for inspecting their equipment, using it appropriately and deciding whether it is suitable for use.
Appointments and turnaround
Services are performed by scheduled drop-off. Turnaround estimates depend on workload, equipment condition and repair complexity. Same-day requests may carry an additional charge.
Inspection and approval
Additional damage discovered during inspection may change the recommended scope, price or completion time. Material changes are confirmed before additional work proceeds. By approving service, the customer authorizes the work described in the appointment, estimate or invoice.
Bindings and equipment condition
Customers are responsible for providing accurate skier, boot and equipment information. Binding adjustment is not a guarantee against injury or release in every situation. Old, damaged, recalled, indemnified or incompatible equipment may be declined when a reliable adjustment or service cannot be completed.
Repairs and cosmetic results
Repair improves damaged equipment but cannot restore factory-new strength, appearance or service life. Existing wear, construction limitations, moisture, corrosion and hidden damage may affect the finished appearance, durability and performance. Colour, texture and finish may vary from the original material.
Customer property and unclaimed equipment
Customers should remove personal accessories and identify any special concerns before drop-off. EZ Ski & Board Services is not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, hidden defects or manufacturer failures unrelated to the approved service. Equipment left beyond the agreed pickup period may be subject to storage arrangements or fees after reasonable notice.
Pickup, inspection and payment
Completed equipment should be inspected and collected at the agreed time. Concerns about the completed service should be reported promptly and before further use where practical. Payment and applicable taxes are due according to the order or invoice.
Limitation
To the extent permitted by applicable law, responsibility for an approved service is limited to correcting the service or refunding the amount paid for that service. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under British Columbia or Canadian consumer law.
