Dry and inspect the gear
Before putting skis away, wipe the edges and let the bindings and boots dry fully. Check for rust, burrs and deep base scratches. Persistent edge pitting or structural damage is worth assessing before the next season.
Protect the base
Clean the base and apply storage wax. Leaving the wax unscraped until the next season helps protect the base during storage. Scrape and brush before riding again.
Choose a dry location
Keep skis and boots in a cool, dry place away from damp concrete and high heat. Dry boot liners and footbeds, buckle shells lightly, and check the equipment again before the first day back on snow.
Bindings
Do not change release settings without the correct instructions and a plan to verify them before use. If the boot fit or binding setup has changed, book an inspection or adjustment of existing ski bindings. EZ Ski & Board does not offer mounting or remounting.
