Start with inspection

Dry your skis or snowboard after each use and check the base and edges in good light. White or dry-looking base material, visible scratches, burrs and corrosion are signs that service may be due.

Protect performance

Regular waxing keeps the base from drying out, while properly finished edges provide predictable grip. Deep gouges, core exposure, loose edge sections or sidewall damage should be assessed before the equipment is used again.

Professional service is recommended whenever damage affects the core, edge attachment or binding area.
