What protective film covers
Protective film is applied to suitable snowboard topsheets to reduce cosmetic scuffs in high-contact areas. The technician checks surface condition and whether the film is appropriate for the board before applying it.
What it cannot do
Film does not repair a cracked core, separated edge, delamination or damage to the base. It does not change how the snowboard glides on snow. Existing structural damage should be assessed as repair work first.
